The application portals are now open!

Follow the processing status of your applications on Hochschulstart (pay attention to the status of your applications). You will also receive all notification documents only via this account.

Every time there is a change in status, you will receive an e-mail notification from the Hochschulstart application portal and also from SELMA. You should therefore regularly check the mailbox of the e-mail address you have given.

If your personal data changes during the application and award process, please change it only in your account at Hochschulstart. The change will automatically be transferred to your account on SELMA.

After the application deadline, the universities gradually issue offers of admission. Details on the procedures can be found on Hochschulstart.

When you receive an offer of admission from NGU, you can accept it immediately. The letter of admission will be made available for you to download. Notifications of admission are always displayed in your applicant account on Hochschulstart on Mondays and Thursdays.

As soon as you have received an admission letter, you can apply for enrolment online in the application and enrolment portal SELMA. A corresponding button will now appear. Please also note the links and information on your letter of admission.

If you are already enrolled at NGU and would like to change your degree programme, click on "Confirm desired degree programme" in the application for enrolment to change your degree programme.

For enrolment, the signed "Confirmation of enrolment" must be received by post at NGU together with the officially certified copy of your higher education entrance qualification and, if applicable, the certified copy of your Bachelor's degree certificate.

If you have obtained a Higher Education Entrance Qualification (e.g. Abitur) abroad, a conversion to the German grading system is necessary.

If you do not have German citizenship, you must also pass a language test.
We accept these language tests.

Chinese, Indian and Vietnamese applicants need an original certificate from the Akademische Prüfstelle for the application.
